DON'T WASH YOUR NET YET

Gone out…washing their nets
Peter and his friends are set to go home
They were washing their net from fishing
They toiled all-night with no catch
They have accepted the defeat of the day
They have already given up on trying

Are you also washing your net?
You have tried with no result
To show for your labour
Your efforts are not yielding
You are so discouraged
And ready to give up
Wait let me finish the story

And Jesus had a need
The demand to hear His word had increased
He needed a better platform
To reach out to more audience
He saw 2 ships standing by the lake
And He prayed the owner of one
To make use of his ship
Which Peter gladly gave to Him

When He was through teaching the people
He said to Simon, Launch out into the deep
Let down your net for a draught Luke 5:4
I know Peter must have said in his mind
If Jesus knew when we have been here
Letting down our nets all day with no catch
He would not have suggested I still launch out
So he finally spoke out to Jesus

All night we have toiled and have taken nothing
But I will give it a trial because you asked
And the result of his trial was net-breaking
People calling and Boat sinking
And Peter repented of his sins

My friend
All that Jesus requires from you
Is the boat of your heart
Jesus still has that kind of need today
And He is still looking for boat to reach more
He seek for lives to use in preaching His word
Give it to Him and He will visit your issues

When Peter walked-out
That is when Jesus walked-in
The situation Peter had closed its file
Jesus re-opened and changed it permanently

Instead of giving up
He is asking you to give in to Him
Because there is no situation too hard
That Jesus can't fix
There is no habit so strong
That Jesus can’t break
There is no trauma too bad
That He can’t help you overcome
There is no hurt and heart break
That He can’t mend
Don’t be clouded by the situations
Miracle still happens everyday
And yours is next in line

He will give you results that will astonish
Everyone around you Luke 5:9
So don’t wash your nets yet
Your labour will speak this time
And you will command the results
Of all your past efforts that did not yield
As you launch out again.
