2. SELL WHATSOEVER YOU HAVE

After you have identified your way

You know where you are heading to

The next question is ‘what do you have

To offer where you are going’

It was a clear instruction from Jesus

‘Get money in exchange

For the value of whatsoever you have’

There are a lot of people in Church

Who pray for financial liberty

They are faithful, holy and committed

They pray, fast and read the word

Attending regular Church services

But they lack one thing

Selling that which they have

Jesus never talked about giving

Until selling has taken place

Selling is offering goods and services

That is tangible and intangibles values

In exchange for money

And until you have money after sales

How would you be empowered to give

Many Believers lack money and are not givers

Because they don’t sell what they have

They don’t know money moves

In the direction of values

A man will harm himself

Chasing after money without

Values to offer in exchange for it

Trade by barter still operate till now

Because we are still giving what we have

To get what we want till date

Every trader knows how to trade in what

He has in order to go home with money

So if you desire to gain freedom

Over lack and poverty

Don’t sit around wishing for it

Be engaged in the business of your talent

STEPS TO SELLING WHAT YOU HAVE

a)  WE ALL HAVE SOMETHING

You have got something to offer

No one is here on earth empty

You and I have got a treasure locked up inside us

Paul said but WE have this TREASURE 2Corin.4:7

And that means we all do have something

That will spell out our difference to our world

For He gave to every one of us

Just according to our several abilities Matt.25:15

b)  IDENTIFY WHAT YOU HAVE 2Kg.4:2

You cannot offer what you don’t have

So take a time out to list out all you have got

The things you can do naturally with ease

The talent you have got

The gift you are born with

What you are passionate and good at

What you will like to do for fun with no payment

What catches your attention all the time

What motivate your interest

c)  DEVELOP AND PACKAGE YOURSELF 2Kg.4:3

The Prophet instructed the woman

To go and borrow from people

This indicates ‘People-Connecttion’

If you will get to sell whatsoever you have too

You cannot do it all alone

You need to borrow knowledge from men

Learn and develop yourself through books

Attend seminars, workshops and conferences

Drink from the deposit of great men

In the area in which you are going

Make it fit for yourself in that field Prov.24:27

Seek exposure to boost the value of what you have

Get schooled in line with it

Then packaged it and make it sell-able

And offer what you have for money

Crude oil sells very good in the market

But refining it will give it higher market value

So refine your crude talent and gift

Don’t be lazy roosts what you have Prov.12:27

d) MARKET AND SELL WHAT YOU HAVE

Seek visibility

Go to where the stakes are high

Get value for what you got to offer

Tony Robinson get paid for talking

Robert Kayosaki made millions from books

Bill Cosby makes history from being funny

Pele shaped footballing from Brazil

And many other people outside there

Who are selling what they have

Away from the populous motives

That you can only gain financial freedom

Being employed with your certificates

e)  OFFER YOUR HELP-MONEY WILL LOOK FOR YOU

But looking at the other way round

I discovered that we cannot all sing

We will not all become Actors

Not all of us will be an Author

Nor are we all going to become Public Speaker

But there is one thing we can all do

And that is to offer our help

David made it when he helped fought Goliath

Joseph hit it big the day he offered to help

The Prisoners who had a rough night

Daniel made history and dined with Kings

Just by helping to solve their doubt

And interpret hard sentences

I can boldly tell you

That helping people pays big any day

One day I was discouraged at my lack of gift

I begin to ask God what He has created me with

Because I have no voice to make it in singing

My diction is not so good to earn from speaking

I am not a gifted actor too

Then God told me “dare to walk with Me

And I will make you a gift to your world”

How He is going to do it I don’t know

But I am following Him ruggedly

Then later on after my graduation

I begin to recount my undergraduate memories

And I discovered

He is making something good out of my life

I remember one afternoon on Campus

I was explaining Financial Accounting to a friend

Under the tree after our lecture

And 2 people walked towards us to listen to me too

After I was through with my friend

The man beg me to be taking him FA

So I decided to help him out with his friend

They come every Friday to my hall for FA

Then suddenly whenever 
They are back from travelling

They will come with lot of things for me too

Even without asking them

They begin to give me things

I could not buy for myself

What a trade by barter

I impart them with knowledge

They gave me gifts in return

Another good experience occurred again

One day after answering a question in the class

A lady work up to me 
Asking me to please help her in the subject

I decided to take her on too

But anytime she is coming over to my place

She will always come with what I don’t have

A pot of soup today

And variety of food stuffs tomorrow

I went through school spending little of my resources

As most of what I needed was taking care of

By the people I help out in my class

Even to the extent of paying school fees

Another good thing about helping people is

It will make you a better person

I moved from upper credit to distinction

When I decided to help people out in those subjects

My knowledge base in those subjects broaden

When I took on the responsibility

Of giving it out to others

You can build a multimillion dollars business

Around that which you have

If only you know how to take it to the market

And turn it value around for money
