Keep your head up

This is not all about your life
And this too shall pass

Storms don’t last always
Don’t reduce yourself
To the dictate of your going through

You are more than what you have become
Only learn to keep at it

Don’t let the fire
Of your enthusiasm die

Even when every road you’ve taken
Led to your regret

Gather the ashes of your broken hope
And build up the strength to carry on

This is just a coma in the journey of your life
Don’t make it a full-stop

David encouraged himself in the lord 1Sam.30:6

That courage
Is all you need to take that step

For where you are going
Is nearer than you first begin

Learn to look to God
When there is no more strength

Within you to believe a little more
When all your strength is gone

And all your melodies are fading away
And all you prayed for still look far off

Friends don’t bow out
And bury your head in the storm

You can make it through this
If only you don’t give in

Keep your head up
Even when the storm is hot

Never give up
