MORE THAN WHAT PEOPLE SAY
A lot of people give up on
themselves
Even when God still believes
in them
They pray to God to forgive
them
But they never forgive themselves
Such act of self-condemnation
is destructive
And I discovered it start
when they are young
I remember a girl in school
Who never see anything good in
all she did
Always comparing herself
with people
Including her siblings and
friends
She lacks faith in her existence
Because her parent never
think
She could amount to anything
in life
They never told her with
words
But they have said that to
her several
Times through their actions
I have a word to parents out
there
Never compare your children
with one another
Don’t praise one
At the expense of killing another
one self-esteem
You are only building a
family war among
Your children without
knowing it
Build confidence and a good
self-esteem
Into them while they are
young and still with you
It will make them scales
through pressures out there
And develop a thick skin
against bad influence
You can’t imagine what
people do
All to gain acceptance
Smoking, drinking, dating
and partying
Doing things that are not convenience
And that are not morally
sound
Usually but not all the time
Have their root in lack of
self esteem
Following the cloud and what
is in vogue
Is a sign of weak character
and lack of self-confidence
Many people have been lured
into what is not
Just because their friends
Think is strange for them
not to be doing the same
But I will like you to know
You are unique in every
sense
Your make-up was dictated by
your purpose
You are fashioned uniquely
for a mandate
Sport cars are good at
sporting
Buses for commuting
Trucks do best at carrying
loads
While trailers are heavy
weight carrier
Their reason for existence
dictates their formation
So you may be tall or short
Fat, thin, black, brown and
even red
You are never a mistake
You know my Pastor told us
there are no dull brains
The field of interest is
what makes the difference
If everyone will harness
His energy in his areas of interest
His energy in his areas of interest
The result will be amazingly
great
So your friends, relative
and even family
May not know the reason why
you are here
Because you are not born of
the will of man
So don’t give up on yourself
Because men refuse to believe
in you
God has never created a worthless being
When He look at you He praise Himself
So friend
You are more than what people say
