YOU NEED A COACH

Now there cried a certain woman
...unto Elisha 2kg.4:1
  
Being tall does not make you a basketball star
You need a coach to give value to your height
You can have all the talent in this world
And still die lamenting in need
Until you value instructions of a teacher
Your life will be void of WORTH

Just by an instruction
She flew high out of lack and poverty
Her perpetual obedience to instructions
Moved her from liability to becoming an asset

Many people knows too much
That they make cheap the words of a teacher
Even the Holy Spirit finds it hard
Instructing them from the scripture
They knew too much
Yet they wallow in debt and want
They move from friends to relatives borrowing
But to listen to a coach on finances
They will never obey if they ever listen

Pilot fly by instructions
Even the great titanic shipwreck
As a result of neglecting instructions
There are many homes today
Suffering from poverty and debt
Not because they don’t work or are lazy
But because they work not by instructions
But some have become enthroned
By thriving on specific instructions
In the area of their concern
The woman ran to her coach
For financial instructions to cure her lack

You can receive spiritual, intellectual
Financial, ministerial, parental and marital
Instructions from the Bible 
If you let the Spirit lead you
And God has packaged instructions into
Some human being to better your life
Locate and be schooled under such human vessels
You can be instructed by their books, CDs,
Tapes and Videos
Just to push out the glory of your destiny

There are no self-made stars in the world of sport
Every star emerged by the instructions of someone
I have not seen self-made Doctors
Neither have I seen self-made Accountants
They all went to organized institution to learn

So also life don’t disregards the 
Power of being taught
If you will hit it big in life
You need to know how to hear it raw from a coach
They are there to help you realized your destiny
Just as Elisha helped the woman 
To realized her fortune
As a maiden helps in giving birth
They lead you to birth the stuff in you
Gifting and abilities that you never know you have
She never knew the oil can pay her debt
But Elisha instructed her to prosperity
You surely need a coach to obey

I remembered when I became a Bible Study Leader
In my fellowship when I was in high institution
And I was so small in stature that
I wonder if my followers will ever obey me
But as I was reading a book by my mentor
I heard it clearly as if he was talking to me vocally
“You don’t beg a man that you are taller than
To look up to you
Nature will make him adjust 
His neck up to talk to you
And you don’t struggle to remove a cap
From the head of someone that you are taller than
Nature has made it easy for you to take it of
So grow taller than them in wisdom and knowledge
And they will listen to you with ease”
So I gather money and went 
To Lagos to gather books
Sermon mp3, CDs, Tapes and Bibles
Lock myself up and start 
Studying and listening to words
I meditated for hours gathering light for the journey
And to God be the glory 
I commanded impactful results
And till today that instructions has made me
Both a Preacher and a writer
Someone who never knew how to write nor
Speak good English ones in his life

So Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists
Prophets and Apostles
Are God’s gifts to you help you 
Enter into honor and glory
Whichever one God has place over you – obey
And value God’s instructions through them
