FACING THE FIRE

…and there was no smell of fire on them. Dan.3:27

These 3 Hebrew boys

Went through the fire

Yet the fire never change them

The fire had no influence on them

I met someone of late

He was one of those I respected in faith

He was so deep and gentle

Infact I once wish to know scripture like him

But 7 years later when we met

It was a whole different story

You cannot even believe

He once preached the gospel

He now drinks, smoke and date women

He has built his house and drives a good car

But he had lost his faith in the midst of the fire

I weep deep within me when he narrated his story

He went through hell trying to survive as an orphan

But I thank God that he is back and doing great

He was the inspiration behind this light

Life’s issues are usually attack on our faith

And not many people do make it through the fire

When the fire of situations and circumstances come blazing

A lot have bow the knees to the challenges of life

But there are few lessons we can learn from the Hebrew men

Who went through the fire and came out strong

Not even a smell of the fire passed on them

Because they stood for God

He waited for them in the fire

He deactivated the power of the fire from hurting them

And what was meant for their fall

Made them to walk out even taller

You might also be going through the heat of life right now

And passing through fire in your finances

Passing through fire in your relationship

Passing through fire in your place of work

Passing through fire in your ministry

Passing through fire in your health

Passing through fire in your family

Passing through fire in your education

And there is a voice telling you

To give up and bow your knee

And every time you refuse

Things get more difficult

Just remember the 3 men

The fire was increase 7 times

When they will not bow

So don’t bow to the temptation to steal

And change figure to solve your financial issues

Don’t bow to the call to start sleeping around

Just to have money to settle your bills

This fire is set to make you lose your stand

And compromise your moral value

You have a testimony that is worth fighting for

So defend it with all your inner power

You can make it through the heat

Without looking pitiable

Don’t let what you are going through

Change your values and integrity

Don’t lose your testimony to life’s issues

God never forsake those who stand for Him

So be strong and full of faith

Don’t let the smell of fire of pass on you

Be strong.
