YOU CAN MOVE ON

David was greatly distressed
Because the men were talking of stoning him;
Each one was bitter in spirit
Because of his sons and daughters.
But David found encouraged in the Lord his God.
1 Samuel 30:6

There are times when looking up to people
For the courage and the hope that you need
When you are going through hard times
May just not be there
Even those that you freely
Thought will run to your support
May just take a distance far apart from you

That was David experience
When his soldiers thought to stone him
He looked around and only saw hard faces
And discouragement coming from his love ones
But he made up his mind to be self motivated
He tapped into his source of hope in God
And forge a way head without hate

So friend
When you are faced with discouragement
From quarter that you never expect
Learn to be self motivated and move on
With no hatred in your heart

There are many things
That don’t encourage in this world
But only those who find courage in God thrive
Men will fail you if you put your trust in the flesh
For the best of the flesh is corruption
Only God never fails

When looking around give you no hope
Looking down may be very depressing too
Looking back may try to delete your hope
And looking forward may seem so vague
But looking up to Jesus will light your world

So don’t sit down magnifying your discouragement
Shake yourself from the dust of pity party
Inject your heart with a dose of hope from the Lord
As prescribed in the clinic of the Scripture
Then take steps of faith toward fulfilling your destiny
Because nothing will move until you are on the move
Neither will things change until you enact it
But being demoralized does not change a thing

So no matter what the issue may be
And no matter where the disappointment came from
It may be from your Mum or Dad
A friend so close or far away
May be a business partner of even your spouse
Your Boss or colleague at work
Your sibling or an uncle so dear to you
It may even be your Pastor or a mentor
Find courage in God to move on
Life doesn’t end there
There is much to your life
Than being tie down in the shackles of hatred
Because somebody disappoint you
People too have their own issues that they are facing
So don’t count it against them
And remember that you can move on
Even though you are disappointed
