And Abram went up out of Egypt, he,

And his wife, and all that he had,

And Lot with him, into the south.

And Abram was very rich in cattle,

In silver, and in gold

And he went on his journeys from  

The south even to Bethel, unto the place

Where his tent had been at the beginning

Between Bethel and Hai Gen.13:1-3

Famine led him to Egypt

He was looking for a way out of lack

The situations of things around him

Compelled him to move to Egypt

He went to sought for a greener pasture

He pitched his tent near where his need can be meet

But at the expense of his relationship

It almost cost him his marriage if not for God

But the moment he went up out of Egypt

He became very rich in all things

Sometimes we are stock in Egypt too

Where we thought things will be alright

But turn out to be a pain in the neck

Sometimes we enter into relationship

And we think we have escaped the famine

Of having somebody to marry

Only to discover this is a dead end

And you sought to break out of it

Sometimes it’s a job

You got in first and you are glad

You thought your struggle over financial lack is ended

But later on you desire to move out

As it holds no future for your life

There are many ways in which people

In time past and even now

Have gone to take shelter from the famine

Of lack of money, relationship, confidence

Self-esteem and so on

But were entangled by what

They thought will SAVE them

Today

Declare your freedom

From everything that holds you down

Move out of your Egypt and go up

In Genesis 13 Abraham went up out

In this year 2013 you too can go up out

Of all the mistakes that you have made

You can go up out of every decision

That ties you to your past and hinders your pace

If you are in a wrong relationship

Go up out before it ruin you while you still can

If you went into a wrong business for shelter

Go up out before you get stock

If you are doing a wrong job

Go up out before you get stranded

Whatever it may be that you went into?

As a result of looking for shelter from the storm

And famine of finances and many lack

That has turn around to wound your faith

And burry your hope with no future

You can move up out of them all

Remember Abraham WENT UP

Before he could ever get out

This year you are going up

Out of every lack and wants

You are going up out

Of every issues of shame and sorrow

You are going up out

Of every issues of stain and disgrace

This year ends all your days of struggling

Get ready for your change of status
